Dr Alfredo Sfeir-Younis
Dr Alfredo Sfeir-Younis, Former Presidential Candidate of Chile gave a Keynote Speech at WGF–GBIF Thailand 2024.
Dr Alfredo Sfeir-Younis is a Former Director of the World Bank, and a Special Representative of the United Nations.
Dr Alfredo spoke on Global Warming and Climate Change.
And, he emphasized that all countries must work towards human change and enlightenment on global issues.
He also spoke about how Economics, Business and Governments must change with a changing world.
In the end, Dr Alfredo thanked World Growth Forums for Honoring him with the WGF Person of the Year 2023 from Chile.
Ms Hasina Parvin
Hasina Parvin, Chief Executive Officer and Editor-in-Chief of World Growth Forums gave a Keynote Speech at WGF–GBIF Thailand 2024.
She spoke about how world leaders can come together to create an impact together for creating a better world.
And, how countries and communities can come together to realize this seemingly impossible dream.
She also spoke about how challenging it is to raise finance for the cause of contributing towards a better world.

His Excellency Dr Sándor Sipos gave a Keynote Speech at WGF–GBIF Thailand 2024.
His Excellency Dr Sándor Sipos is the Ambassador of Hungary to the Kingdom of Thailand.
H.E. Dr Sipos spoke on bilateral relations between Hungary and Thailand.
He also spoke about how Private and Public Sectors can work together for a better world.
He also spoke about how valuable are international relations in making change and resolving global conflicts.
In the end, Dr Sipos thanked World Growth Forums for promoting Public–Private Partnership and Inter-cultural & International Collaborations.
Her Excellency Mrs. C A Chaminda I Colonne
Her Excellency Mrs. C A Chaminda I Colonne gave a Keynote Speech at WGF–GBIF Thailand 2024.
Her Excellency Mrs. C A Chaminda I Colonne is the Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Thailand.
She is also the Permanent Representative to UNESCAP (Accredited to the Kingdom of Cambodia & the Lao People’s Democratic Republic).
UNESCAP is United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.
H.E. Mrs. Colonne shared how United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals provide all people and the planet, peace and prosperity.
She shared that His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka has emphasized the need to capitalize on the vast development opportunities presented by the Indian Ocean region.
She also shared that a digital economy, a green economy and a highly competitive economy are pillars of Sri Lanka’s future economic strategy.
She expressed her sincere gratitude to World Growth Forums for organizing the WGF Global Business & Investment Forum in Thailand.

Ms Aime Pinyapa Somphong
Ms Aime Pinyapa Somphong gave a Keynote Speech at WGF–GBIF Thailand 2024.
Ms Somphong is the Managing Partner of the TWL Law Group, and the Vice Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce in Thailand.
Ms Somphong spoke on how women leaders and the private sector can contribute to a better growth for all, and a better world.
She shared that women continue to face systematic barriers to leadership and entrepreneurship because of gender discrimination.
She also shared that our society must actively confront and reshape the patriarchal norms and attitudes that undermine the women leaders’ capabilities.
She emphasized that by harnessing talent, creativity, innovation and leadership qualities of women, we can unlock new opportunities for growth, innovation and prosperity.
Ms Donnah Ciempka
Ms Donnah Ciempka gave a Keynote Speech at WGF–GBIF Thailand 2024.
Ms Ciempka is Director of the Australian–Thai Chamber of Commerce (AustCham Thailand), and Head of School, Ascot International School, Thailand.
Ms Ciempka spoke on how does education prepare and make the world a better place.
She shared that skill sets of the past don’t help humans in today’s world, especially after COVID.
She also shared that it’s the education’s responsibility to provide opportunities to students, while presenting the world to them.
She emphasized that teachers must develop core skills in their students enabling them to change the world.

Panel Discussion 1
Ms Hasina Parvin moderated the First Panel Discussion at WGF–GBIF Thailand 2024.
Ms Hasina Parvin is the Chief Executive Officer and Editor-in-Chief of World Growth Forums.
Ms Parvin shared that World Growth Forums is committed to create business and investment opportunities worldwide with mutual efforts.
She asked Ms Donnah Ciempka to share the possibilities and opportunities of business and investment through the Australian–Thai Chamber of Commerce.
Ms Ciempka shared that Thailand is a hub for business and tourism, and there’s an enormous increase in small and medium enterprises.
She further shared that Australian–Thai Chamber of Commerce is ever-ready to help solopreneurs, and embrace all kinds of businesses.
Ms Parvin asked Her Excellency Ms Colonne to share the possibilities and opportunities of business and investment through the Sri Lankan Embassy in Thailand.
Her Excellency Ms Colonne shared that Sri Lanka has signed a Free Trade Agreement with Thailand in February 2024.
She further shared that her Embassy’s focus is on awareness of Thai and Sri Lankan people about business and investment benefits.
She further shared about products with duty-free access, tariff liberation and exemption from duty for interested businessmen.
She also shared about the 11 sectors, where Sri Lanka will receive technical expertise from Thailand.
Ms Parvin asked His Excellency Dr Sipos to share the possibilities and opportunities of business and investment through the Hungarian Embassy in Thailand.
His Excellency Dr Sipos shared that the engine of the global economy is shifting to Asia, with 60% of the global GDP.
He also shared that Hungary can offer worldwide solutions on many areas such as food, healthcare, water, sanitation and education.
He further shared that Hungary offers 40 Scholarships in the Education sector to Thailand every year.
He also shared that in the Healthcare sector, Hungary offers world-class x-ray machines and implant surgeries, and an FTA with Thailand would be signed soon.
Ms Parvin asked Dr Parameswaran to share the possibilities and opportunities of business and investment through the European International University.
Dr Parameswaran shared that we must channelize our energies in the right way for nation-building to create excellent possibilities and opportunities of business and investment.
He also shared that people must be kept engaged, and as a result, irrespective of national borders all nations and people would prosper.
Ms Parvin asked Dr Desai to share the possibilities and opportunities of business and investment through his company Quality Catalyst Pvt. Ltd.
Dr Desai shared that India believes in the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, meaning “The World Is One Family”.
He also shared that all humans must focus on peace and humanity, for mutually creating possibilities and opportunities of business and investment to grow together as a family.
In the end, Ms Parvin thanked all Panelists for their valuable contributions and discussions together.

Mr Filip Muszynski shared that his company Modern 369 Net works in the field of Artificial Intelligence, which is the future.
Ms Parvin asked Dr Irene Ochem to share the possibilities and opportunities of business and investment through her organization, AWIEF.
Dr Irene Ochem shared that her organization has been dedicatedly creating equal economic opportunities for women through inclusivity.
She further shared that her organization has been dedicatedly closing the gender gap in the entire Africa, while creating equal access for women to economic opportunities.
Ms Parvin asked Mr Samuel Mawusi Asafo to share the possibilities and opportunities of business and investment through his organization, The CIAMC.
Mr Asafo shared that his organization trains administrators, who then help others in Africa avail business and investment opportunities.
Ms Parvin asked Ms Vanessa Lerato Phala to share the possibilities and opportunities of business and investment through International Labour Organization.
Ms Phala shared that ILO’s role is to promote social justice, and get men and women around the world to get fair access to opportunities.
She also shared about ILO’s global accelerator for employment, just transitioning and social protection.
In the end, Ms Parvin thanked all Panelists for sharing their valuable insights, while enlightening the gathering.
