Her Excellency Mrs. C A Chaminda I Colonne is the Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Thailand

She is also the Permanent Representative to UNESCAP (Accredited to the Kingdom of Cambodia & the Lao People’s Democratic Republic)

UNESCAP is United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific

H.E. Mrs. Colonne shared how United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals provide all people and the planet, peace and prosperity

She shared that His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka has emphasized the need to capitalize on the vast development opportunities presented by the Indian Ocean region

She also shared that a digital economy, a green economy and a highly competitive economy are pillars of Sri Lanka’s future economic strategy
